I wish that I could live isolated in a forest for one year. During which I would not cut my hair nor shave my beard, and totally devote myself to the study of psychology, music, and theatre. No television, computer (other than research), or phone to distract me. My only house guest would be a highly intelligent, sarcastically witty, unequivocally wise professor. My rationalization? It was effective for the noteworthy societies and renowned individuals of history. Alexander “The Great” grew daily under the teachings of Aristotle. Furthermore, it would force me to anatomize (dissect) my “self,” confront my demons, and acknowledge I am still holding tight to wrists of unresolved things-past. “If only, if only, the woodpecker sighs.”
